Sources first
Every fee comes from the State Department’s fee chart and Passport Fees page and is cross-checked with 22 CFR 22.1; every time from the official processing-time page; every renewal rule from the Renew Online and Renew by Mail pages; every destination rule from the Consular Affairs country information, quoted word for word. Secondary sites are never used as a source.
Updates
A scheduled job reads the sources every week. Published processing times are updated automatically; fees, rules and country texts are re-read by a person before any change is published. The date at the bottom of every page is the date of the last check.
Corrections
Errors reported to contact@uspassportcost.com are checked against the official source and corrected; the case then joins the automated tests.
Independence
